This is a different motor racing game from the norm in that it does not concentrate on one particualar series.
For example Formula 1 or Nascar etc. It is more of a driving career game.
For example Formula 1 or Nascar etc. It is more of a driving career game.
The game, (in career mode) starts with an introductory race where you have the opportunity to drive the fabulous Audi R8.

After the completion of the race the game begins in earnest.
The game initially gifts you a car (from a small list) to get started with, I chose a 2009 FORD FIESTA ZETEC S. (See below)

Each segment of the game is divided into seasons.
Each season has a main championship category and set of minor categories.
This season is run a calendar.
The main event for the season is run at the weekends and the other events are run during the week..
When a smaller event is be run, the game offers 3 options.
The first a championship which introduces new tracks.
The second a championship featuring the current car being raced.
The third which gives the racer an opportunity to compete with another car (if one is available).
A gold award to given for each championship where the racer wins every race.
Each race consists of 8 cars.
Race lengths increase as the racer progresses through the seasons.
After completing each race experience (XP) points are awarded which is in fact the game score and is the score by which the game determines which level the racer has reached.
The game will reward the driver with cars each time a certain number of XP points are accumulated. There are 50 cars to be won.
In addition to Experience points the racer on completion of each race will receive am amount of credits (cash/prize money) which can be used to buy either car upgrades or additional cars.
The amount earned is determined by finishing position, degree of difficulty (what assists are turned off) and damage accrued during the race.
Points are also awarded to the car. For each level reached the car will recieve a 10% discount on manufacturer parts which will be applied when buying upgrades.
